FAQ'S ABOUT DRONE SERVICES IN SAN FRANISCO BAY AREA
Are there any flight restrictions in the Bay Area?
There are some drone restrictions around the airports in the area. Our team will work on getting flight approval for areas that are close to airports. In most scenarios we get flight clearance or a fixed height ceiling where we may not be able to fly higher than 300 or 200 feet. To see the general air space see this map.

Places like the Golden Gate Bridge are also in a national park zone and need special permits to fly.
Do Drone pilots need to be licensed to operate in the San Francisco Bay Area?
Any drone pilot operating for money and commercial purposes must hold a valid Part 107 license by the FAA. People paying drone pilots without licenses can be held liable.
